The pursuit of Happyness

Its not a good movie, its a great movie. Today I finally saw the movie ‘The pursuit of Happyness‘, with a ‘y’ instead of an ‘i’.

It was stumped by the exemplary performance of Will Smith and his kid, depicting the true story of Chris Gardner and his struggle with life. The movie tells how this medical equipment supplier faces his life with no roof over his head, how he manages to live with his kid while pursuing internship at a stock broking firm, and how in the end he gets the coveted job at the end of the intern program.

The movie moved me, its something which reminds us about not giving up, no matter what. It tells us about chasing our dreams, and holding on to them.

‘If you want something. Go get it. Period’
