I completed another book by an IITian, called Above Average. Its in the series of the recently splurge of campus fiction books like Five Point Someone, Mediocre But Arrogant, and Anything for you Ma’am. Things turned out well! As per today’s newspaper, the boy Krishna would get the treatment needed with people pouring in to help with the expenses. In fact, a couple offered to bear the full cost of the treatment and the prosthetic leg for the boy.

Today, while reading The Times of India, I came across an article on the 3rd page about a 9 year old kid who met an accident yesterday and lost his leg. The poor guy was excited about a planned cricket match at school and now perhaps he may never get to play again.
